I enjoy that one but I'm partial to Weihenstephaner or Rothaus Pils. The frustrating thing is I care rarely find them around me. Prost!

First off, congrats to you and the lovely Miss Shanex. And all I want to say is that you should soak in every moment from here until your child’s birth. I only have a daughter, but I’m guessing it’s just a different thing that first child. I do want to say though, when Mrs. Raul was pregnant, I got nothing but negative comments about having a kid. “You’re never going to sleep again.” “Get ready for a wild ride…” etc. No one said how amazing it was going to be. Sure, there’s a learning curve. But if you and your miss have a good plan and help each other out, it’s all good! After infancy, people asked us how we got our girl to sleep through the night. And it’s all because we worked together and put her on a routine! That’s my advise. Soak up every beautiful moment to be and enjoy this once in a lifetime ride of having your first child. And as you know, if you want any advise or anything else, you can shoot me a dm!

Been a rainy nasty day...so staying in and spinning some Keith Jarrett...yeah that will work. His Standards Trio, with Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette.

Real Ale Favorable Conditions IPA in the glass.

Might be my favorite all around beer. Beers. Autocorrect changed cheers to beers, and I’m okay with that. It knows me too well

I had that one once a while back. Had to look at my notes. I think I got a fairly fresh one because it was quite hoppy and bitter - grassy with some citrus notes. Nice soft mouthfeel too.

A fine day for Taras Boulba Belgian Pale Ale from de la Senne-- or so I thought.

Modest aroma of bread and yeast. Sudsy and lively on the tongue. The modest cereal flavor gives way to a yeasty bitterness, which grows more and more bitter. This bottle is over a year past it's "Best by" date, 28 June 2024, so maybe the flavor evaporates. This is good for a few sips with a hint of sweetness, then turns very dry, and before long it's undrinkably bitter with that yeasty astringency.

I don't believe so - it's brewed at Jack's Abby now I think. Hard to tell because it just says Brewed and Canned by Wormtown Brewery Worcester MA and Framingham MA. Cheers!
