Ha! Jesus Jones was huge in my sophomore year of college! So too was Porno for Pyros! I came across the DFH pack today and was intrigued from other posters responses. Definitely worth it for the price!

 

Now I am washing dishes and drinking an Oktoberfest from Brew Kettle. Cheers.

IMO CT has the best pizza outside of NY/NJ hands down. Overall I think NYC has a larger amount of better pizza. But, I agree with you it’s not quite comparable. New Haven also has the clam pizza which is quite nice.
I do think they have better oysters than NY/NJ though

 

You will not believe this but I was listening to Lithium on satellite and I heard that song. I was loving it. Jesus Jones. Man there were so many great bands then. Really a mix of genres to select from. Won't be a time like that again.

 

Alright BAs. My dad is visiting here for a couple of weeks. So great to see him and to chill out. He brought some old stuff from my childhood I'd forgotten about...like this cool glass filled with Summit Oktoberfest Märzen. I was 6.5 yrs old when that race happened. Al Unser won both '70 & '71...Cheers!!

Growing up in that area you guys are killing me...I can almost smell it. We had Rudy's Pizza in Closter NJ. They had to move but they're still going. Many memories of Mom taking us three boys. Red and white checkered vinyl table covers, oregano, red pepper and cheese in shakers on the table. As soon as yiu walked in your mouth starting watering from the smell. 70's

I was in college around the same time. MTV was seemingly always on the TV. I still have this video burned into my retina. I mean it was played that much back then.

I remember being in college in the early nineties and MTV had a show Sunday night called 120 minutes that was all videos like Jesus Jones, Blind Melon, Inspiral Carpets, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, etc!
