Arbeiter Oktoberfest (5.5%): A Marzen from Minnesota with flavors of caramel, baked bread, cinnamon toast, and light floral notes. Clean.

Arbeiter making some of the best lagers I've had so couldn't miss their Oktoberfest Marzen. This is dark, toasty, caramelized, and not overly sweet. Robust flavors. Outstanding.

 

Placebo Stella... until I make a decision about the Church of Bad Decisions...

Just making some cheese steak sandwiches with sub rolls bought from our local pizza shop.
Brewer's Gold is my favorite Warsteiner. Just so German tasting, if that's really a thing.
Good grain flavor, perfect balance of hops, great mouth feel.

Time for a new Warsteiner variety pack, just to get more of these.

We are going to start driving south tomorrow morning, so an early night it is.

Cloud Machine from Tree House canned 9/23/25 Fisrt sip was like “ oh this is good” full of New Zealand hops, Nelson Paradisi, Peacheeine and Rakau. It’s not soft as the name would lend you to believe, big grapefruit taste, peach and white grape notes. The can says soft creamy mouthfeel but I would say assertive. It has a lingering astringent and grapefruit finish. I liked it but was surprised by the boldness. Cheers!

 

It feels a bit like "pumpkin beer" weather around here - this one is hitting the spot!
