Happy Tuesday BAs! Looks like summer in October is over - it's drizzly, cool and gray outside this afternoon. Maybe this glass of Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor will brighten my day. Cheers!

 

Today, there are showers and the temperature's dropped, out here in McGregor, but for my lady Pamela and I, it's a welcome change. Both of her cats decided to check out my three new beers of the day with me, and, if they deserved it, the cats would give their unique stamp of approval: First, it's my third brew from Little Current, Ontario's Manitoulin Brewing--their 5% Ten Mile Point Pilsner...



Next, from Vaughan, Ontario's Magnotta Brewery, my third of their beers--the 4% True North Light IPA. And finally, with Gracie, it's my second of Nita Beer Company's handiworks. They're from Ottawa, Ontario, and I'd give their 4.4% Pineapple Sour Kettle Sour Ale a hearty thumbs-up as well...

All three beers are also shown bookending an article on a fine screwball comedy from 1940, The Philadelphia Story, for no particular reason...



Tomorrow: Three new brews to discover, from the following breweries:
--Molson Coors Canada (Toronto, Ontario; my fifth of their handiworks);
--Nickel Brook Brewing Co. (Burlington, Ontario; my tenth); and
--Paulaner Brauerei (Munich, Germany; my fifth)...

Laid my neighbor down to his final resting place today. He was affectionately known as Fucker. He was only 59. He would always say he stopped drinking as he pulled a beer from his pocket. Cheers Fucker! I stopped drinking!
