Toppling Goliath Koselig BBA Imperial Stout, 14.7% ABV. Pours moderately thick and black with no head. Leaves an oily sheen on the glass. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon, and caramel. Taste is strong caramel, plus cinnamon and vanilla. No bourbon burn, equally bitter and sweet. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

It's a cool but very beautiful day, out here in McGregor--and time for another outing for The Responsible Beer Drinking Club--but first, my first from Latrobe Brewing Co., of St. Louis, Missouri (though, here in Canada, it's brewed in London, Ontario by Labatt Brewing Company)--their 4.5% Rolling Rock Extra Pale Lager (shown with articles on cult classics All About Eve and Black Narcissus, for no particular reason)...



The Rolling Rock is also shown, poured, with articles on Blackboard Jungle and Easy Rider, for no particular reason...
