    Drinking a Tripel from Ommegang with Coffee and Vanilla. i enjoy these adjuncts in stouts but i was sleeping when purchasing this one. The first sip was a shock. Struggling with the yeast phenols and adjuncts conflict on my palate. Being the Scotsman i am, i will not drain pour this one.

    Thanks P - that's a possibility although I don't usually have a beer until later in the afternoon. I will be trying to locate some Celebration since one place told me they expected to get some on Tuesday. There's still none to be found any where around central Mass which is really annoying me.

    However - I just now made a phone call to the place in Chepachet RI and they told me they have 12 packs so I will be heading down there tomorrow morning to get some. It's about a 1/2 hour drive one way from here. Additionally, Chepachet is a really cool little town, lots of antique stores and a small town flavor. Cheers!!
