Finishing these Migration Fresh Hops and the early games.

 

1) Back Channel Zero (5.25%): A Czech Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of dark malt, cocoa, light roast. Smooth
versus
2) Half Acre Ridge Tree (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Chicago with flavors of dark malt, cocoa, light roast. Clean.(Mismatched the two blind)

Czech Dark Lager battle. First is Back Channel Zero, First try at this. Dark malt, cocoa, mild roast. Finish is smooth and clean with lingering cocoa.
Next is Half Acre Ridge Tree. Not quite as dark. More brown an dark malt flavors. More grains. less cocoa. Cleaner. I keep coming back to this each year.
Winner: Half Acre Ridge Tree
