We here in the WNC are experiencing an upper 50's day and thankfully no snow. Been awhile since we have been out of the 40's. Getting into a fine NEIPA called Parquet Floors from Other Half, nice brew!

Out in Wyoming we don’t check the weather — we just check what direction the lawn furniture migrated overnight. If the wind ever stopped, half the state would fall over from shock.

 

The wind in Colorado has gotten progressively worse over the years. I live close to Golden, Colorado and yesterday we had wind gusts up to 60 mph. Nederland, which is straight west of Boulder up in the mountains had gusts up to 90 mph yesterday. Very destructive!!!

Lots of wet, heavy snowfall this afternoon; I was going to shovel the driveway, but it's still coming down so I'll just wait until it stops. In the meantime, I'll be staying warm indoors with this glass of Vimy Lagered Ale. Cheers!

 

Man, that’s wild. 60–90 mph gusts is no joke — that’s the kind of wind that makes you rethink leaving anything outside. Wyoming trained me to expect a trash can to relocate zip codes overnight, but Colorado sounds like it’s leveling up lately. Stay safe out there — that kind of destructive wind isn’t something you just shrug off.

 

Enjoying a Celebration. Not drinking as many this year, too many other good things in the fridge BUT i suspect i'll procure another twelve.
