Final day in the office is tomorrow which means an afternoon celebration at the bar. Scoping out the beers on tap to devise a game plan for tomorrow.

Next (and probably last) is a Dark Of Night from Odd Side. This beer is a heavyweight contender. So good - can date of November 2023. Oak ever more prevalent now. Good roast and chocolate on the backbone. It's early still so will probably finish off a bottle of Rare Breed after this.

Every Tuesday we can both make it, a friend and I walk for an hour and then head for Tap 22 that has $2 draft beers all day. I never looked forward to Tuesday's until we started doing that.

Enjoying an Einstok Toasted Porter -

Contemplating what to put in the "go bag" for tomorrow morning. Forecasted high winds up to 70 MPH gusts tomorrow and higher elsewhere. Last time this happened In December 2021,1,000 homes burned not 15 miles from here. Marshall Fire if you want to look it up.

Hoping things stay somewhat restrained, yet this time they have already planned power cuts for Boulder and a number of other places to prevent sparking downed lines causing wildfires.

 

This Wemby guy is pretty good.
