    Heineken Lager Beer

    Solid example of Euro style Lagers. Clean, crisp, flavorful, good malt presence and noticable but balancing hops. Not the cup winner but it sails pretty fast.

    Told myself I was going to buy fewer mixed 12packs this year. It wasn't a resolution, if it were it would have been broken fairly quickly. Lift Bridge is local, and I enjoy brown ales and am a sucker for peanut butter so...

    ...a strange, weird neighborhood happening just occurred...a sweet but eccentric spinster lady in our neighborhood just came to our door to tell us she's moving to assisted living and will give up her dog sitting business (which she has had for decades - along with managing rental properties) and her big, beautiful property due to 'memory issues'...man, this getting old ain't for the weak of heart (she's smack dab in the middle of me and Mrs. BeerGoot - and I'm 69)...so, best wishes to our neighbor in her significant life change...
