Great brew so far. Papaya and spice prominent with more fruit flavors. Peach, grapefruit, orange, mango. Love it! Cheers

 

The plan to abstain always gets wrecked when something catches my eye in the grocery store. A Mosaic, Citra, Nelson, and Nectaron HDIPA is too much for my weak resolve

Stormy Night Stout, great flavor good head, very good.

 

#2 from another excellent Chicago brewery (IMHO), I am getting the much sought “barrel/oak/coconut” trifecta with this wonderful beer. There’s also chocolate and stone fruit and the mouthfeel is sublime, again IMHO.

Garage beer

 

Got gifted with a bunch of aged Bourbon County beers yesterday. Here's my first one.

Cellaruary: Beer is meant to be consumed, not collected. (2026)

 

Pulled some strings to get Double Sunshine this year. Last year so easy. Anyway, will need a cigarette after this (don't smoke)

 

I found it in the fridge and it's definitely way past the BB date which I can't quite make out, but looks like 09/16/25 - however, it still tastes pretty good. .Nice, subtle smokiness going on. Definitely still a good beer and even better when fresh. Cheers!

 

Hamm’s and oatmeal. Grains for life. Otherwise known as I’m too lazy to make anything else after a long day. Cheers.
