Another one of these. What is with my fascination with Virginia brewed IPAs? Maybe partly because I can’t get Treehouse or Trillium. Or any Russian River IPAs.

Today was pot roast day and a departure from my normal chipotle spiced version. Went with old school onion fnd a touch of umami for the flavor. Chilling in the fridge for a dinner tomorrow.

So tonight was a nice home made pizza. Home made pizza journey 35 year later, I discover docking and par baking the crust for 2 minutes . World of difference, nice crisp crust and no soggy dough.

Boulevard - Bourbon Barrel Quad prior to some apricot banana blondies for dessert.

 

Pasta is out.

Under 30 days Union Jack is supreme . It is hard to find fresh and you did .

A beautiful sight. I cant find the 12 ounce cans. Got a couple of 16 ouncers from the six pack still. Might be my next beer.

 

It doesn’t get any better than that. WOW!

Amazing pepperoni sausage thin crust from Aldi, added the room temp pepps until it's covered.


A new celebrity beer, I got at walmart 12 pack because my wife wanted a beer she would like. Garage Beer Lime. BB code is 1676, 6/16/2026. Fantastic head retention and lacing for the style. Aromas of vibrant lime juice/zest, cracker, white bread, and light herbal/grassy hops. Taste of vibrant lime, citrus zest, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and light pepper/pine. Light pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light body; crisp, clean, refreshing finish. Light grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Perfectly clean lagering with no yeasty notes. Overall a very respectable light beer, great citrus vibrancy and a clean lager base beer. Just a tiny bit waterier than expectations. 3.88/5

Yeah, with the slow Big10 conference start, every game from here on out is going to be big game if we want to make it to the Big Dance in March. Putting UCLA and Purdue behind us now, one game at a time moving forward.

Being a lifelong Dodgers fan I'm used to watching late night West Coast games and that's fine because these guys are Pro level and that's their full-time job. With College kids, c'mon ... they also have classes and studies to deal with, it's ridiculous. Totally illogical and agree with you. Money talks (and NIL is getting out of hand, another story in itself).
