What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4857

Howdy folks. Sure enuf Mr. Sun has a good angle here today. Real nice to see some melting. I've noticed that my hair is hairlarious and should be trimmed but if I just wait 2 months it'll become a world-class mullet. Yep. As my wife sez: Business on top, party in the back.
Time for a beer. I completely destroyed the SN Hazy Little Things from the LT variety pack last night. Might be winning over a couple of my other faves but that said, I had a Summit Triumphant on Monday eve and it is as good as gold. It doesn't last long at my Haus. Unfortunately I never see it on tap. Now with the combo of Celebration, Springfest, and HLT in the fridge I'm a very happy beer drinker. It makes me forget about all social clutter.
SN Celebration Ale (still have 36 bottles) and it's nice to be out in the sun for a bit. Cheers!

Exhausted with a lot of running and busing around the past 24 hours. Will enjoy lunch and a nice sleep before returning to catch up on the WBAYDN threads. This beer is doing all right, need to avoid a cellar beer situation with drink fresh beers.

The hits just keep stackin' up. SN Springfest tho I know spring is a ways off. At least for up here. Shit. I hope this beer is still around when it is actually springtime. Ha! Add some good green sativa called Chicken "n Wafflz and it's just a gorgeous day.

Soothsayer Smoked Porter at Freak Folk
In Waterbury VT

 

Just cracked "Narfoot", a 60%Narwhal/40%Bigfoot blend rested in barrels for 5 years. This was released as part of Sierra Nevada's Friends of the Family club a few weeks ago.
Rated it a 4.33. There are definitely two distinct flavors. Getting a lot of cocoa from Narwhal while Bigfoot brings the C hops, the citrusy undertone, and a under the radar hop. Barrel attempts to tie the two together and lends oak, vanilla, and fresh whiskey. Finishes balanced.
I am going to put the other bottle in a closet for 1-2 years and see if this pulls together more.
