I'm thinking maybe I could blame the storm window issue on the guy that painted our house last spring. Window that fell just bottom left of him, but I know it wasn't him. These things happen.

Done with work, time for a good beer tonight. Cheers all.

 

1) Kozel Cerny (3.8%): A Czech Dark Lager with flavors of dark grains, bread, caramel, and cocoa.
versus
2) Half Acre Ridge Tree (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Chicago with flavors of dark malt, cocoa, earthy bread and roast. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Czech Dark Battle. First Kozel Cerny. Cocoa, some lactose and milk notes. Smooth finish.
Next is Half Acre. Slightly more dark grains and earthy notes. Kozel Cerny is more authentic to style, but I like Half Acre more.
Winner: Half Acre Ridge Tree

At Sebago Brewing for dinner and enjoying their Celebrate IPA. Not sure if it is their attempt at a Celebration clone but do know it is pretty tasty
