It is such a beautiful day out...after a long walk with Moe, its time for beers and book out in the courtyard.

A couple of wold class Foreign Extra Stouts...and starting The Collected Short Stories of John McGahern. If you are not familiar, he is one of the best modern Irish writers (passed away in 2006) but should be in the discussion for best modern Irish novelists, right up there with John Banville, Nial Williams, and Anne Enright. If you haven't guessed by now, I do my patent pending (or at least I should get one ha) Irish Readathon leading up to St. Patrick's Day ha.


Took Moe on a long walk before hand, but he is still hanging around the courtyard as well, neither one of us can get enough of this beautiful day.



More hanging out in the courtyard today for sure, but is going to be after I open my bottle of Powers John's Lane 12 Year Old Irish Whiskey So this is probably it for me today...

 

Happy Thursday ba. Out in the rain and muck all day- and now it’s actually snowing/winter mix. So I’m done going outside for the evening.

No heady here but plenty of these,

 

Good Craic, a dry Irish stout at Little House Brewing then a walk over for pizza.

 

The Kooolsh went down so easy. Time for a sipper.
