An IP trade with @BeerBaron666 in 2022 at Bottle Logic, when I was over there for @RaulMondesi wedding. It's been 4 years! Modern Times Modem Tones, canned 1/3/2022. Poor head retention and no lacing as expected of 14.4%. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, vanilla, marshmallow, bourbon, toasted oak, light molasses/smoke/coffee/nuts. A bit of booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming, very rich dessert sweetness. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, marshmallow cream, bourbon, toasted oak, light molasses/smoke/coffee/nuts. Mild herbal/roasted bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy/silky/velvety malts; light sticky hop, chalky roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light lingering roasted bitter and oak tannin dryness. No cloying sweetness. Very rich malt complexity with a ton of vanilla and perfect barrel integration. Mild lingering warmth and booze of the 14.4%. Dangerously smooth sipper. Aged wonderfully. 4.51/5

You sir are correct about that brewery. In my opinion they are NH best all around at brewing beer. They don’t have a weakness in style. Brews everything at a very high level. Cheers Larry always love conversing with you brotha. RESPECT
