Just made it back to Bass Lake from Paso Robles after a nice day in Monterey and a lovely drive down CA-1. That is one of the best drives we have experienced.
Currently enjoying a Brother Thelonious Abbey Ale from North Coast bottled in January.

Sweet drive mane!

 

Postimages was not cooperating at FW and on the road so posting now. I got to enjoy a Diesel Thunder WCDIPA and a Parabola 2026 small pour while Mrs. CC had a full pour of a light lager.
The FWBC Campus is huge, very impressive place to visit! So happy to have finally made it as a buddy and i schemed for years to get there but alas never did.

WW II History buff, that is hallowed ground, plus so many cool little towns & villages. Had a very cool Commander that allowed us to do a few trips to Bastogne during the anniversary weeks. Such great memories.

 

On my list!

 

In 5 years, plus several visits to Hawaii, never had bad Sushi,

 

Just opened the door & saw all these eyes staring at me. 12-16 deer walking through the ex golf course. All about the same size, 1-2 years old. These are the ones that figured out how to cross roads. At least in the Burbs they don't get shot at...

 

Notch Brewing - Left Of The Dial
4.3% ABV American IPA. It's basically a session IPA, but they didn't want to call it that name. It's pretty tasty - nice orange zest, marmalade, and grapefruit notes along with toasty caramel malt. Nicely balanced. My first Notch beer. Looking forward to their lagers!

It's pretty sweet. It's weird because the body is so thin. It's like a beer/cola

Yep, I’m no connoisseur (though I absolutely love it) but this was some of the best I’ve ever had.
