The last brewery that I founding holding old stock in the taproom is now out of business.

 

Not me. But I've had quite a few "American Pilsners" that are foreign to foreigners and to folks that don't get new, current, fresh American beers.

Good afternoon BAdvocates. Had to run some errands this morning. Went to the post office since the mailman left a notice on my front door on Sunday of all days. I was at my neighbors house running a chainsaw so of course I couldn’t hear the guy knocking .

Anyways, drinking my first ever “Fight Milk” from 10 Torr Brewing and Distilling. These guys make a TON of different seltzers so I never previously paid any attention to the few beers that they produce. This piqued my interest however. I thought this would be one of those weird blonde stouts, but instead it comes across as a really sweet Maibock. Can’t necessarily say it’s a bad brew, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Well, 'twas nice to be in the sun for a few minutes today. I think I'll wait until tmrw to pop another recent @beergoot brew or two. I wanna have all my taste buds happnin' and my lady is bringing home some truffle fries from my favorite truffle fry joint. So...SN Citra Little Thing HIPA 7.5%
I like all the Little Thing beers. Some more than others, but I get their curve on it. Cheers!!

 

I get a rolled oats taste from a number of Hazies actually. I dig it.

I have not had another beer labeled with that style.
Flavors are right along the North German Pils, with excellent Pilsner malt expression and floral noble hop display.
This was a fresh can, and I will be buying more.

Back at the VRBO
enjoying an Altstadt Bock. One of the better beers I've had from Altstadt.

 

Well I decided to crack open a second Fight Milk. At least I got a better head from this one, but I’m now getting an unappetizing smoky flavor. This beer really isn’t very good, but definitely unique.

Going out for a quick 9 holes this evening. Trying out some different clubs my friend generously gave to me. Bound to be a fun time!

According to the restaurant’s menu, this is the IPA from Columbus Brewing Company - an American IPA. Not sure about that, but whatever it is, it’s very good.
