Other Half Citra + Galaxy (8.5% canned 12/21/25):
A NEIPA from NY with Citra and Galaxy for flavors of passionfruit, peach, ripe melon, fruit punch.

I guess I'm still cleaning the Celluary today. First two beers didn't deserve a post (RAR Loose Strokes and Mortalis Hemera). A couple of fruited IPAs, one with vanilla. Gosh I hate that style of beer. I'd drain pour if I hadn't paid a pretty penny for them. Clearing my palate with Other Half. Admittedly this wasn't my favorite from them, but makes it me appreciate it after the last two IPAs. Telling myself occasionally drinking bad beers helps me appreciate the good ones.

Revolution Double Barrel V.S.O.D. Imperial Oatmeal Stout 2023, 17.9% ABV. Pours moderately thick and black, with a half-finger light-brown head that left no lacing, but did leave an oily sheen. Aroma is all sweet bourbon and roast malt. Taste is sweet bourbon, chocolate, and dark fruit, moderately sweet, slightly bitter, not much bourbon burn. Outstanding thick and smooth mouthfeel, overall world-class. Another home-run by revolution.

Good afternoon, Advocates! I'm enjoying a week off from work, and today I'm celebrating my 21st wedding anniversary. Crazy how times fly. I'm finishing this bottle now. I capped it last night and it still tastes great now.

This IPA is almost always in the nightly lineup. Master Shredder brewed by Veil.

Tell me where my logic is wrong. I say it is cost inefficient:
I ordered four items from Amazon on Sunday. Purchase said that all four items would arrive today. Which they did but by three different trucks and at three different times. Paper towels were delivered by UPS. Kleenex was delivered by an Amazon truck an hour later. And the outdoor temperature monitor and set of water glasses were delivered by an Amazon truck two hours after that.

It doesn’t seem cost effective the way it was delivered but I am sure Amazon has it all figured out to minimize cost.

The Scurvy Dog is my favorite bar ever and has a solid beer selection. You should hit it up.

Lucky Enough has a small, but typically solid, draft list. Really great nachos too.

Narragansett brewery doesn’t have the best beer ever, but it’s a nice space and worth checking out.

Treehouse Brewery (Charlton location) is an hour drive north. Fox Farm (my personal favorite) is about an hour drive south. If you’ve got wheels, check them both out.
