What beer are you drinking now? #4906

The last time I saw them at The Heights Theater (about this time last year), I was able to get right by the stage. I yelled at Chris Wood "WHEN IS MEDESKI MARTIN & WOOD GETTING BACK TOGETHER?" Most people around looked at me strange like, who the hell is MMW? Chris just smiled and winked at me ha. I don't know what that meant really, but it was funny to get that acknowledgment ha.

 

Good afternoon BAdvocates. I’m drinking The Bird IPA, a collaboration between Revision and Faction. I needed a break from those wretched 10 Torr abominations that I had been drinking these past few days.

Double Sunshine looks fantastic! Wings look great too. Air fryer, baked, grilled or deep fried?

 

Dual Torpedo on the patio. RIP Dash Crofts ( yesterday) was 85 YO.

 

Baked - that's my usual method. 50 minutes at 400 degrees, and they come out perfectly. If they're bigger wings then I go for an hour.

The Double Sunshine is really good. I'm not a huge fan of Sip of Sunshine - I prefer Second Fiddle over that, but the Double Sunshine is a worthy beer. Cheers!!

 

Drekker Good Company Helles (4.8%): A Helles lager from North Dakota with flavors of grains, yeast, bread, faint honey.

Drekker with a German Helles lager. Drinking very crisp and clean. Not too complex, but crushable.

 

A nice sping day calls for a nice spring IPA!

got the first canoe paddle in this afternoon - 74 degrees and windy af - tornado watch now out until 11 pm tonight!

 

Sullivan's has to be one of the most underrated breweries in all of Kilkenny. That little nip at the end is a delight.
