Last one, some beer fridge cleanup, this Schwarzbier was canned on 2/3/25 and is still drinking magnificently. I love the style and this is an excellent representation.

Oh, thats right...on to Moon Rabbit...a fantastic Vietnamese spot...with a Yellow Rose in the glass this time.

Shrimp Vermicelli, and blistered shishito peppers...Oh yeah.



Both Johnny's and Moon Rabbit are within walking distance of me...so now I am back home, about to take Moe on a walk...before I go on to The Heights Theater to see the Wood Brothers...yeah...thats the kind of neighborhood I live in...people think Houston is a non waling town...but I live in probably the one neighborhood that that is a thing ha.

Anyway, some Wood Brothers...and I'll be back after The Heights Theater as well

Quite dry with that spicy rye. It's an easy sipper that I would gladly buy again.

 

6th Lord. An IPA brewed by Basic City. Some clams soaking before they meet their demise tonight.

 

Dark Mild 4% at YAVA. Another pretty good beer. Comes in ligher bodied as well but had good toffee, toasted malt, cocoa , and coffee notes. I was good for a pint. This place is a nice addition to my local beer scene. I'll be back

 

This comes from the new SN Torpedo pk. This new pack is one of the best IMO. I mean Rye IPA? I'd pay $ for a sixer. Atomic also good.
Took one when the Mrs wasn't looking. My favorite tequila.

 

Moving right along to a Fiddlehead Mastermind DIPA



I splurged on a new Sire S7 New Gen strat style guitar. Incredible specs on this one and I already own two SIre guitars and they are both excellent. Easily worth twice the amount. This is Larry Carlton's brand and he plays these guitars live so that says a lot about the quality.

I don't know if you like brown ales, but Little Willow Mr. Brown is pretty damn tasty. It shows that they can do more than just NEIPA's. Cheers Tim - I hope your evening is satisfying!
