    I hope you are right that this is the start of a good Hawks run over the next several years @champ103 . McCollum did a lot with a little so let’s hope they can get some great talent to go with stellar coaching and start shaking up the usual suspects in the Big 10!

    I also have a soft spot for any coach that started at the humble beginnings of the MVC, and then went on to the Big 10. Which includes Bruce Weber, Matt Painter (both SIU), Dana Altman (Creighton*), Mark Torgen (Wichita St*), and now Ben McCullem of course ha.

    *They were at the time anyway...
