Does anyone keep "cheap" beer in your fridge for people who don't appreciate good beer? I have a few family members and friends who stop in from time to time that absolutely have no appreciation for good beer. Bud Light and Coors is about the extent of their beer drinking. I don't mind sharing my beer with anyone, but on the other hand, I hate wasting it on people that won't appreciate it when I could be offering them something else. I usually keep a few Anchor Steam in my fridge for these folks. Anyone else do anything similar?

Usually if non-beer people come over I have Naragansett around. Even better is when I can find Bitburger. I love that stuff and my macro friends dig it too.

There are the occasional PBRs but after my new job and being the beverage director for a small restaurant, I have begun to purchase a case a month of craft beer cans and bottles to keep in the fridge for friends. right now the cans are...

The High Life in my fridge is for ME! Actually, I'd rather turn my friends on to the craft beers I have. Usually let 'em sample around 2 oz first.

I've given up serving people craft if they don't show explicit interest in it, I am so done trying to convert anyone.

All of the "special" stuff I keep at cellar temp anyways, but I have some Brugse Zot (a Belgian blonde) in my fridge at all times if people just want a beer. I won 8 cases of the stuff last March and still have 4 left, so they better hurry if they want it fresh.

No way. If they want cheap beer then they can get it themselves. And if they drink cheap beer, they're not getting mine because I buy good, expensive beer.

Anchor Steam is expensive around here (Long Island).

I usually have this on hand for my non craft beer drinking friends and family...

Strohs but that's for my wife and I. My friends that drink cheap beer turn their noses up when offered one.

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't appreciate at least a Blue Moon, Boston Lager, or Guinness.

Edit, my old roommate was a generally a Miller Highlife guy, though his favorite beer is Duvel.
