I can't get that stuff fresh around here. I looked at a 6 pack of bottles a couple days ago and they were dated 5/30/2025. It seems to be a shelf turd around here.

First of the year. Using the last SN glass I possess, missing the handle, still works well. Still had to run the heat last night, mostly because I fell asleep in the recliner with all windows open

 

Supposedly..... somewhere around 85 IBU is the high-end limit of perceptibility . So.......essentially all ~same. +/-

I def watch dates but mine around her are 6 to 8 weeks old. I got this in the variety pack

This sounds like an experiment is needed. I wonder if there is an aspect regarding what type of hop is causing the bitterness, or other correlative factors creating a compounded experience. This Hop Stoopid is downright sessionable, whereas Double Dog would lay waste to my palate and mind.

The hops in play make a difference, some malts also muddle those hops more than others

A mercy kill from the beer fridge and this actually got better with age on it. OK, interesting beer name paired with this style, especially when it has to do with Norse mythology.
