Had I saved all the money I spent on Veil brews most notably Shredder, I would be a rich man. Worthy of a BA name change I would think.

Have a good Monday BA. I slept all day, Boat was yelling a lot all day. I had trouble getting to sleep so I took some ashwagandha and it worked eventually. I woke up with my back being thrown out somehow and I can barely walk. Time for a beer. And some weeed. I finished The New Age of Sexism by Laura Bates at 3AM: 4.25/5 all the way through, but a very graphic nonfiction book about a lot of pron and AI girlfriends. Well researched and accurate.

About 33% through The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown: 4/5 A classic feeling mystery thriller with Robert Langdon once again. It feels sort of similar to Origin with the opening being about some Scientist who discovered a new secret about consciousness and possibility of afterlife. Then Langdon gets himself caught up with the police investigators in Prague after an incident when he thought the hotel was going to blow up. All the chapters intermingle between the characters point of views. Including some creepy antagonist known as "Golem". Classic paced book, Paul Michael narrated it with a lot of amazing character voices as with all the other Dan Brown novels.

    Happy Birthday to @beerdedking :heavymetal:

3/20/2026 Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing. Great hazy IPA as always. Big Citra, Comet, Simcoe, El Dorado, and Mosaic juiciness with a balanced biscuit malt backbone. Light-medium piney drying bitterness. Nicely soft and smooth drinking.

Having another beer brewed in Scott’s Addition in Richmond, Virginia. This one is a Helles Lager brewed by Ardent. The brewery is just a few blocks away from the Veil brewery.

Back with one more while my palate can discern flavor.

    Spiteful Brewing Sun Soaked

Full review linked above. Bottom line, this isn’t a go to style, but I always try any Spiteful beer I can, and this delivers as advertised in terms of a corn brewed Mexican Lager.

    On live here.

Some live improv jamming with my buddies. The kind of jams we like to have. This was a pretty good live recording I thought. I recorded it on my Yamaha 16 track.

Masthead Old Timey Weller BA barleywine. It’s pretty good, and reminds me of the Jackie O’s Time Beyond Time I had the other day. It’s not stout earthy territory, more cola meets wet wood and caramel.
