What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4952

Tonight was going to be a beer free night because I have an 8:00 appointment with my dermatologist tomorrow for a three month follow up on my melanoma diagnosis. While there I am hoping she can help me with the jock rash I have been dealing with. My boys have been prickly and red for a month. As is my groin. Tried over the counter anti fungal creams for two weeks. No help. Doc prescribed some prescription anti fungal creams. Two weeks in no help.

Too much information guys? Anyway, this beer is my closer. I brought back a plethora of NC IPAs while in OBX over the weekend. I plan to do some serious brain cell damage tomorrow night.

 

And this is why its not always good to read everyone's posts as the visual of prickly boys is now deep in my brain.

That is good advice. There are many things I am glad I did even though they were hard. But there are many things I didn’t do that I regret. Most of those regrets are about enjoying the here and now things. Maybe not monumental but just enjoying the moment and not worrying about consequences.

11/20/2017 Dark Horse Plead the Fifth. Super rich dark chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts, molasses, light fudge, charcoal, wood, pepper, pine. Still a good amount of pine/woody RIS bitterness. One of the best in the style. Mild warmth of 11%. I wish I could still get this brewery. One of my favorite Russian Imperial stouts. Almost drank all of my cellar down now. Less than 2 cases left. Need to find some more imperial stout!

Onward to the next new beer to us. Now my son and I are trying Skinny House Brewing's Skinny House Lager

 

Bit cool today and quite cold tonight. Had to swap a battery in the one car and now I think there is no coolant. Need to fill it and see how that goes this weekend. Made a spinach and cheese lasagna and now I am guzzling this beer. It’s really nice. I was gifted a pack, last time I was only able to get a crowler.

Just heard this on the radio, fantastic! The show tonight is really good.

What a great help around the gardenLogic light with cheeseburger salad. Sort of like super-sized burger and fries with a diet coke but it came out pretty good
