Starting off with The Miles Quintet with George Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams. Wayne Shorter wasn't part of the band yet, but Coleman is excellent. All their live albums...

Tree House - Bear brown ale tonight. Really great, rich and dark tasting, super toasty, roasty with dark chocolate notes, dark toasted bready malts, caramel, dark toffee, molasses, charred brown sugar, coffee, subtle vanilla, dried fruits, with mild earthy hops. Still one of my favorite brown ales ever since the first time I sampled this 9 years ago. Had to revisit and make sure this is drinking as good as I remembered. Nice to have a different style beer on hand. Just had some pork soup dumplings for dinner, real great stuff. Cheers everyone!

 

Time for a well deserved post work beer. Too bad that this isn't very good.

I think it’s been 5 years since I’ve had this big, brawny beer. The WCDIPA/WCTIPA is my favorite style and this is a fantastic representation of the style, IMHO. Absolutely love it.

 

Deer Beer
Just chased a very healthy and large coyote out of the yard. It sbooed a large turkey into a tree and was snooping around the duck eggs bed with hen 50 ft away. I went out quickly and stopped the raid. It ran & jumped the neighbors 4ft fence No damage.

 

WMUA, UMass Amherst radio has been featuring Sonny most of the week across different shows.
