Recycled picture from yesterday, same beer but in a Weyerbacher tulip. Spent part of the evening sharing some Sucks and Hop Slam with a couple of good friends.

I am glad you tried my personal favorite! I actually put in an order for a case of it myself! :grinning:

And many salute's for you too! If you enjoy the bottle after two years, a fresh one or even better on tap makes just that much more better!

I have a tear in my eye now...

Do we need to have a comin' to Jesus meeting? C'mon man, follow your own advice (and I quote you): "You do know today is Sunday don't you. Drink some water, slap some Nutella on a piece of bread and get back in the saddle." .... Let's go, Alice! :stuck_out_tongue: (j/k!!!!!!!!!!)

I bought a 6-pack of Budweiser Black Crown earlier this week. $5.99 at Target, btw. Cheap! Curiosity got the best of me.

It's basically a sweeter version of Budweiser (sweeter in a caramel way). Almost no aroma (like Bud), a little darker than regular bud (Amber, as it says) and drinks very smoothly. The first few sips were almost cloyingly sweet, but as my palate got used to it, it was very balanced and drinkable.

I mean, it's not an amazing beer... by any means. But if I had a choice between say Bud, Black Crown, Bud Light, & Bud Platinum, I'd pick it. That said, I'm gonna stick to Shiner Bock for my cheap go-to.

Certainly not a winter beer. It's a lawnmower/football cheap beer that you save for your in-laws that drink BMC to be "fancy".
