Nothing outlandish or rare. Just a Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

First Rye I've ever had and based on this I'm going to have to pick up some more of the style to sample.

started things off with an Orval Trappist Ale, moved on to Lagunitas Sucks, then a Boulevard Irish Ale (hometown love), then finished things off with a Deschutes Red Chair. Good Night.

I'll actually still be here on Friday but unfortunately will be stuck in meetings until at least 1:30. I was told at RR that PtY will be sold out well before mid afternoon which totally sucks, especially when we have a rental car and don't leave until Saturday. We were also there on Monday night and got a personal tour from one of the brewers and had our picture taken in front of a tank filled with the Younger; it was an ultimate beer geek moment but painful knowing that nectar was separated from us by several mm's of stainless steel!!! :slight_frown:

Really? 5.2% is "low"? I think most of us have spoiled ourselves on big beers...me included. I rarely buy anything under 6.5% these days (except when it's hot). But yeah, that beer is splendid. It's often overlooked on "best canned beer" threads, but it's super creamy and tastes great!

Anyways, drinking my last Heady Topper:slight_frown:. I am so making a trip up to Vermont when I have the time.

Well....Currently finishing Pliny, the 2nd one. Now that is really excellent. But what makes it even better...Jon Stewart skewering Glenn Beck. Don't get me wrong, Pliny is topnotch, but Glenn Beck is pure comedy!
