Enjoying a VANILLA SLAYER at tri city brewery with my dog, literally.

We aged Giant Slayer for a few weeks with Bourbon and Madagascar vanilla beans. Bourbon vanilla beans are from Papua New Guinea and come from the fruit of an orchid variety called Vanilla Panifolia. It is used to impart a creamy, smooth mellow vanilla flavor. Madagascar vanilla beans are more aromatic and provide a rich and intense vanilla flavor. This combination blends well with the rich coffee and chocolate aroma and flavor of Giant Slayer. The vanilla aroma is prominent, especially as you let the beer warm, The finish is smooth, creamy, and slightly sweet

Well, there is basically two beers I wait for every year; Celebration and Nugget Nectar! And the Nugget has landed! More surprisingly is the fact I am bought one six pack and that is all I need for the year! I should mention that although I love craft beer, I never go overboard with it and just a six pack of this is enough for me!

My friend, just drop those names in a hat and leave it all in the hands of lady luck. By the looks of your list, there is no possible way you're gonna lose. The anticipation, however, would KILL ME!!!:grinning:

One more before dinner. I kid you not when I say this is one of the best Amber Ales I have ever had. The ratings are all over the place. Duck Rabbit Amber Ale.

While not the best beer of the style I have had, it was very good and I like that some of the proceeds go to the Abbey.
