I'm not exactly sure why he had to call out Zombie Dust specifically for comparison but other than that, it's really not much hype compared to a lot of what gets posted around here.

Jesus, okay. I guess that's not a ridiculous price, but I'm poor, man. Grad student stipends don't allow for a ton of discretionary spending, but I'm looking forward to trying it at least once.

I had one on draft at the bar after my pallet was totally wrecked by a Gubna. So I want to try a DD with a fresh mouth. I like the tall cans too.

Yes. It's staggeringly good. Devil Dancer meets Heady Topper.

It smelled really good after the can had split in my laptop bag. I bet my hard drive enjoyed it because now I can't wake it up.

I thought Deviant had a distinct onion/garlic flavor. Sort of like Devil Dancer Light.

But it was definitely good, I enjoyed it as I have with every other Oskar Blues beer I've tried.

I got no Summit/Onion/Garlic flavor, but if you guys have ruined this beer for me and that's all I can taste, I'm going to come back and complain! /s

Seriously though, really happy with this beer.

I can't believe we are comparing Zombie Dust to Deviant? Deviant is an IPA and Zombie is a pale ale.

Regardless of style though Zombie dust puts Deviant under the table and then some. Had both last week side by side in a tasting. Not even close- zombie trumps by a landside- imo.

Also isn't Zombie dust 35$ a case and it looks like Deviant is going to come in around 75$ if not more.

" Sierra Nevada makes an awesome IPA called Torpedo. Great flavor, citrusy, and not too filling. It also boasts a 7.2% ABV rating which is stronger than most malt liquors, except it actually tastes good."

The article is somewhat funny.. I liked that line. In addition, I do not like the new interpretation of "swag". The Swagger in my name refers to brewery apparel, like glasses shirts and of course, the beer but that is not here or there.

    Just cracked my first can.

I actually agree with the dank, pine, oniony type profile. It reminds me of Hop Stoopid. Overall, pretty solid but, not top tier IMO.
