    Bell's Black Note, Founders RubAeus halfed with Spite, mmmm....

    Just hit up Black Bottle and tried their Liquid Metal Rye Imperial Stout and an Ommegang Belgian Independence Tripel. Both enjoyable but that Ommegang was great, definitely a wonderful showcase of the yeasts.

    Now back home and finishing things off with a Bristol Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout.

    That right there wreaks with a high coolness factor! (Dare is say...."Fist Pump!") Been to Germany a few times and what impressed me so much was the number of breweries (I know, "Duh"), however, many of the towns had their own brewery and I struggled to find any bad ones. They definitely do it up right. For grins, only about an hour north of there, did you make it up to Andechs?
