Welcome and Cheers! The Metroplex has really come a long way in the last couple of years. There's some good beer to be had now.
I think they're cool and unique. I just think the economic factors will prevent most craft brewers from using them.

Belgian breweries certainly dominate, pretty much by definition. I do however enjoy the Long Strange Tripel from Boulevard's Smokestack series.
