While it's not brand new, Galaxy is definitely more and more popular now. It's the current "it" hop if you ask me.
Not many but my most recent: Jack's Abby Excess IPL. In my opinion it's right up there with the hoppy offerings from Treehouse or Trillium.
Not sure why they ever called a Kolsch a Pale Ale anyway...
Maybe with some, but I find with social media you can see when good stores get certain beers in and then know they are fresh. It's way easier now...
Modern Times Black House is the best coffee beer I've had.
For a 7bbl brewery I'd say you're looking at more like $100-200K depending where, construction involved, etc.
If I was making this beer, with 5 oz of Citra, I'd add 3 oz at flameout and then dry hop with 2. Ditch the 15, 10 & 5 additions.
It's not the word itself, it's the fact that not all beer is supposed to be balanced. Yet people use that term in reviewing almost every style.
Day Time, Slow Ride, Easy Jack or prob my favs. Some other good one's out there but also some not so good.
Since more and more breweries are putting out top notch big IPA's, there might never be another Pliny or Heady. This thread pretty much proves that.
Knee Deep/Kern River Double IPA was really good.

I just rinse with water. After a while some buildup can occur on the bottom and I give it a PBW soak. Star San will sanitize but not clean.

If it's carbonated then pour down the middle of the glass and it'll foam up. I'm guessing it needed another week or so since you were carbing it...
