The Arena in Wilkes-Barre has good beers on tap. Kind of a sports bar type vibe, but they always have something good....

I was there once and stayed in Jamestown. I don't recall anything being close by as far as bottle shops are concerned. This was years ago, though....

Snitz Creek in Lebanon is a fun stop, as is Joboy's right down the road in Manheim. Both are easy stops right off the Turnpike.
