I'm probably 5% homebrew 95% commercial. But I'm making the leap into all grain brewing so that number will probably go up.
Overall this was amazing, the last sip was sweet cherry with a little alcohol spice. I can't believe it's been this long since I've had this beer....
This beer just keeps unfolding, I'm getting red grape and ripe apples and a little bit red wine. Really wishing I had bought a second.
As it warms I'm getting a big cherry flavor along with fig and spiced pound cake, the finish is spicier, it seems like finish has more alcohol...
First sip is super chewy and creamy, malty, raisin, caramel, some plum, and molasses. Alcohol is really well hidden on this one, dangerously so.
Just poured mine into my st. b chalice, enormous foam head that looks like a big scoop of ice cream. Amazing.
Probably my favorite pumpkin ale, I know its only July but I'll be tempted to pick one up.
