Hog Island Beer Co. is officially open. Swung by this past weekend. They had an IPA and a stout. Both were pretty solid. They also serve guest beers.

I opened a 3yr old KTG and it was awful. I followed up with a 2yr old version and it was better but still not as good fresh.

I usually cellar a couple of ST Pumpkings every year as well as some imperial pumpkins and I've had good luck with them after a couple of years.
Tried the Boulevard Habiscus Gose. I thought it tasted more like a berliner weisse. Didn't have much saltiness to it.
