1.086 to 1.040 congress st clone is it stuck?

    Brewed a Trill congress st grain bill
    with idaho gem and El dorado hops OG of 1.086 . 2 weeks in its at 1.040 is it stuck?...used burlington ale yeast from white white labs

    What temp did you mash in at? Possibly thermometer might be broken or hydrometer.

    How much yeast did you pitch, and at what temp was the fermentation so far?

    How long has it been at 1.040 or is it still slowly moving?

    Have you tried gently rousting the yeast by swirling the fermentor?

    Which kinda makes me think equipment not working or calibrated.

    Like @PapaGoose03 said your yeast. Did you use straight pitch from pouches or a starter? How old were they?

    You could pitch some US-05.

    How many gallons of wort went to the fermenter?
    Did you aerate? Oxygen stone? Shake? Pump aeration?
