Day 11b. This was only supposed to be a one bottle day, but fire some reason he thought I needed another.

This time I have PGW! Cantillon cork. Again, that beautiful color. Im guessing another kriek

And right again. I think I like the funkiness of this one better. Both awesome beers!

And day 12. Perfect was to finish. Don't know what it is, but it's full of coconut. Great beer.

I don't fink I've had a horus before. This is really good.

Thanks @mervmurry for a fantastic 12 Days. I've enjoyed every one of them.

I knew day 11 from @Swcreed013 was from Casey as soon as I opened it. Turns out it was a peach cut from 2016. I absolutely love Casey, this was a real treat to end 2019.

I also had a pour of a 4 roses single barrel store pick that was very good.

Day 12 from @Swcreed013 was yet another bottle from my wish list. The cork said Degarde and I knew is was a gin ba beer right away.
This is the Trio Spruce Tip Cuvée! I sipped this beer for almost two hours and loved every second of it. A real treat to try.
I also had a pour of wild turkey revival. Another delicious bourbon that was new to me.

Ok new year same drunk me.

New years Eve @SouthernSips gave me a beer that is one of the beers that got me into craft beer. Lovely barrel and good body great choice for my last stout of 2019

Since I was mostly awake for after midnight I went ham. I called This beer on the first sip. Load of coconuts!!!!!! This is great

My man sips gave me an excellent ride. To be honest once I learned I got a newish member of the doc i was worried. Damn I was wrong

(Sorry my mom threw away the first half, she went at cleaning binge on Xmas)

And so the 12 DOX must come to an end with day 12 from @Nichols33:
Plain silver cap with no plastic stopper, so maybe or maybe not HF bottle. Taste has huge amount of what I am guessing is peaches. It's sour, but subtle and down right delicious. Best guess was a Hill wild with peaches.

Ahh, the other plain silver cap! Haven't tried maybe nectarine beers before, which is why I was guessing peaches. This really is just beyond excellent. Super easy to drink, complex, and just great stone fruit flavors. Thanks Jeff!

Day 6 of 6 - I am posting late but drinking on time for what it’s worth.
My last beer from @ninjembro was recognizable considering it was my fourth one from Collusion. Since I tried 2 spurs and a stout, I went with a second stout to balance it out. Bam!
The BA is quite present and the maple as well. Maybe a little hot but pleasant and velvety.
    It was Betrayal!
it was shared with a couple of friends who enjoyed it too.
    And here is the lineup:
So, I took a picture of my last bottle as soon as I unwrapped it as I was not sure where it would end up on NYE.

Thank you very much Cody for a fun experience and for discovering local to you breweries. I appreciated all the beer and am looking forward finishing the extras you sent me.

Day 12 courtesy of @NJB145 . Sorry I didn’t get this out last night, feel asleep on couch watching a movie with kids.

Black cap, bottle size, I get out the PGW.

Nose has some maple. First sip is divine, this is my kind of beer. Perfect balance, one of the better beers I’ve had in quite some time. Guessing it’s Kentuckly or Canuckly.

Kentuckly! What a beer, I’m pretty tough grader on Untappd, and don’t give out too many 5 caps, but did for this one.

    Thanks Nate!

My 12 days were phenomenal, couldn’t really ask for a better collection of days, with @NJB145 alternating sours with stouts.

I didn’t send a particular wishlist to Dave when signing up. I have wishlists on both BA and Untappd, but they are pretty aspirational and probably not helpful for BIFs. I generally just want good beer from breweries I don’t have access to and haven’t made the effort to trade for yet.

On my profile page I list some breweries that I’d like to explore more. Not sure if Dave used that to find a good sender, or if Nate used when putting together the days, but on there were Voodoo, Casey, de Garde, Brew Gentlemen, Transient, amongst others. And as you see below, I got to explore some of their best thanks to Nate.

    The kill shot:

So glad I got to try these beers. Nearly all could have headlined the box(es). Nectarine Premiere and Kentuckly might be two of the best beers I had all year.

Obviously a ton of effort went into this box and I can’t thank Nate enough. Very generous. A fantastic trip.

I’d also like to thank @Dave_Treat . I can’t imagine the time and effort spent on putting this thing together but you can tell a lot of thought and creativity is used to put together targets and senders. This was a blast, really makes the holiday season that much better. Thanks Dave.

    Day 12!
I took a few sips before taking a train into Philly for a friends New Year’s Day party. Bottle Logic cap- nice vanilla sweetness and great barrel. Might be my favorite BL I have had. Toss up between this and arcane rituals.
Danggggg. Never even heard of this one. But it needs more hype. So good. Was excited to sip on it on the train ride.

My apologies to @Dad_of_Rad for my lack of posting. Rest assured, I was drinking though!

NYE plans got scrapped when our friend's kid came down with a stomach bug, so instead of driving an hour and a half to their house to share beers, I got to solo dome this bad boy on Tuesday afternoon. With that neck label, there was no hiding the identity of this one...

So I knew it was Prop, but what year? Not infected, so it's not 2015. No peppers, so it's not 2016. No bananas, so it's not 2017. I'm not getting a ton of chocolate, and I do get vanilla even when cold. Must be 2019!

Very happy to get to have this all to myself. Fantastic end to an amazing 6 days.

I guess I will post it now. Not busy at work today.

I have a split killshot because I was home at my parents or my girlfriend’s parents house most of the 12 days. I didn’t want to bring 10 empty bottles in our already stuffed car yesterday. So I took the 10 bottles I had- days 1-11 except day 2 which was drank at my apartment and left there.
Highlights for me were the LPG for sure. And the lost cause mead was excellent. Arcane rituals and however improbable were my favorite BL beers. I had 6/12 days and I think 3-4 extras from them. So lucky!

    The other 2!

Thanks again @Sassyshe888 - it was a great ride! Going to try and finish the extras by this weekend.

And here's my killshot, courtesy of Benji (@Dad_of_Rad). A great mix of styles, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these bottles. All but the BCBS Rare were new ticks, and believe me when I say that revisiting that one was an absolute treat!

Day 1a & 1b - New Glarus, Vintage 2018 and Sour Blackberry Ale
Day 2a & 2b - Side Project, Smooth and Blanc de Blancs
    Day 3 - BCBS Rare (2015)
Day 4 - Untitled Art + Angry Chair, BA Chocolate Vanilla Maple Imperial Stout
Day 5 - Side Project, Saison du Fermier
    Day 6 - BCBS Prop (2019)

Thanks again for such a generous box!

And thanks to @Dave_Treat for organizing this whole thing once again. I know how much work goes into this behind the scenes so we can all have a bit of fun, and you should know that it's very much appreciated!

Time to get caught up on pr0n!

Day 10 brought me a dry and funky beer with lots of floral character. I couldn't guess the specific beer, but it sure was tasty!

After the reveal it seems the heather honey is what I was tasting and smelling.

And @robgage made sure to include these wrapped extras for days when I was extra thirsty, so I grabbed this little guy with orange wax. This was supey oak-y and boozy and got me well and drunk.

As before, I don't have the wax colors from Voodoo committed to memory, but I figured it was a Black Magick since I couldn't pick up any adjuncts.

The reveal confirmed my suspicions as well as the strong barrel presence.

What a great day of beer drinking! Thanks, Rob! #L4L
