    "Yes! Yessss!!!!"

    @vitaminvert

This sucker pours like it doesn't wanna leave the bottle. Visible sheen on the beer indicates an adjunct, maybe coconut? First sips are sweet, but still decent balance. I'm torn on the adjunct, could be some hazelnut, a different nut, maybe coconut? But doubting coconut.

    Reveal: starry!

This really got thick as it warmed, but not exceedingly sweet. I nailed the hazelnuts, I think they're the star and the coconut comes through as a secondary note. Crazy thing with all the adjuncts is that I don't pick up a lot of barrel, overtly, even tho the beer was barrel aged an average of 25 months. I had the adjuncts right, but doubted there being a combo. Coconut was definitely there, but the hazelnut bomb was nice.

    Thanks Andrew!

This is super sweet caramel coconut and toffee notes followed by nice boozey barrel finish.. not a stout guessing a barleywine but it's a little dark. Nose is outrageous I am loving this.. guessing another barreled souls ba beer possibly a blend.

Wow.. no adjuncts I would have lost a bet there was coconut in this.. Wisdom from Barreled souls and Horus. Really good thanks Sandy!
One more pic below because I was feeling left out I didn't have a cool watermark in my photos..

I drank my day 6 on time but am a day late posting. This bottle from @tsgooch79 was a 750 of stout goodness.
I poured it a bit too cold, but it really opened up as I made dumplings for dinner. This is another vanilla ba stout. Not quite as thick as some of my other days, but still really nice.
This also has some chocolate. Looking at untappd, this is one of my senders favorites. Thank you so much for sharing this deliciousness with me!

Day 7 is courtesy of @robgage

Large format, but no cork/cage so guess before even pouring was some sort of farmhouse ale. Pour is a little more tart smelling than I was expecting.

Getting apricot on the taste, but no idea on beer/brewery. Almost has some de Garde characteristics, but the bottle doesn't make sense.

Casa Agria Unseen Dreams! Nailed the apricot.

    Thanks again, Rob!

A couple days behind In posting.

First up was this ridiculous beer from @oline73

Damn this is great! No idea what it is, except for sex in the mouth. I don't think there's fruit? So so good.

    Reveal...

WTF mate?! Dropping literal whales up in here. Cheers Steve!

Next up was this monster of a beer from @Tee2Grn

Holy shit man. This is like a frozen chocolate covered banana dipped in ice cream. Baw gawd this is good.

So good, I got drank and the in laws threw the bottle away before I could take a kill shot!

However, I've noticed I actually matched a handful of folks.

    You're the man, Ian!

So this should be an off day but @Bum4ever and friends made sure I would be drinking straight through.
    Day 4
    [IMG]

Pours very clear, but def not a lambic like days 1/2. As it warmed up I could tell there was some fruit, but kicking mused for not picking up the passion fruit (one of my favortie in real life).

Family Whistle by Santa Adairius. Really nice, and my wife’s favorite so far.

Not only did @Sassyshe888 send me a kick ass extra in aphotic aged in cherry brandy barrels, but she also gave me a helpful hint about posting pics without watermarks unlike someone else in this event.

Day 7 is here and I am cracking into bottle 2A from @campa86
    [IMG]
Very similar to yesterdays 2B in terms of how it poured. Viscous with very minimal carb. Similar mouth feel as well. Another mega pastry stout that is diabetes in a glass. I figured this is another Chaos Grid beer, but wasnt exactly sure what i was tasting outside of vanilla and maybe a hint of coconut.

Chaos Grid Banana Shake. Hot damn this Chaos grid lineup is really good. Dessert in a glass for sure. My sunders stay killing it.

Day 7 from @JasonR1975 brings the familiar Homes logo and bottle shape. I’ve never had anything from them with a cork and cage so I am expecting some sort of sour. As I pour it, it’s a golden yellow and bursting with the smell of acidic fruits. Can’t quite pinpoint what fruit it is but it’s very tropical. Not overly tart.

    The reveal…

    Homes Beneath the Scenes: Passionfruit

Now that I know they are in there, I definitely taste the passionfruit. Can’t believe I didn’t nail that. Seriously enjoyable beer. Thanks Jason

Another two part day from @SouthernSips. First smell and taste was peanut, then settled into hazlenut which makes far more sense.
Given his FL location I thought maybe Corporate Ladder but was wrong. A beer I wasn’t familiar with at all, Hawk Daydreams
    [IMG]

Then came part B, the befuddlement. Sweet on the nose had me thinking fruited stout, or even bubblegum. After some more sips I actually said cotton candy?!
If I knew more of 3 Sons and/or Horus I might have guessed this, but I had no idea.

What a great night of drinking. I told Gary already, if my next two days were Miller Lite, he’d still get an A+. Love this event.

thay includes my Day 9 and a couple extras. I’ve heard people rave about that TH coffee so I can’t wait to try it.

There was more, but I’m not sure I’m allowed to post it, just yet. The Hazy Cup continues this year though!

My day 7 from @swenny916 he referred to as “something a little different.” Pours far enough that it could be a stout, but is more likely in the neighborhood of a barleywine.

Initially I thought the flavors were a bit muddled. At one point I was thinking maybe maple, some vanilla. As it warmed I thought gingerbread spices. It’s a good beer, but hard to wrap my head around.
Turns out it was a Veil/Fonta Flora collaboration. A barleywine aged in bourbon and cognac with vanilla, raisins, and nutmeg. I enjoyed it with a fire while watching some of the MNF game. This was a fun beer to drink blind.

While I mentioned the FOMO of wrapped beers today, opened two nice hoppy extras from @Lazhal tonight! Sorry for the blurry photos, took them at my desk instead of on the dining room table, the lighting in our office isn't great...

Both incredibly solid hops, and up until a few weeks ago, I had been on a (self inflicted, admittedly) hoppy beer drought, so a few 4 packs I bought, plus all these extras, have been exactly what I'd been needing as a gamer who likes to sometimes just crack a couple IPAs while gaming. Thanks Cliff!
