...because it's new this year. The old Rev milk stout was Mad Cow but they changed the recipe up & just released this a month or so ago and yes it is really good. I'm kicking myself for not getting more than one 4 pack

Last day from @TheOneTC poured like straight motor oil with aromas of fudge. I thought this might be a Tree House beer, so I grabbed my PGW...
As the beer warmed up I really started getting lots of bourbon and vanilla. I was pretty sure this was a Tree House BA stout, but I didn't know which one. I didn't know if it had cocoa nibs or vanilla in it, but those flavors were def there...
Nascent Truth! Bourbony, fudgy goodness. Thank you, Tim! This was my favorite beer you sent! Cheers to you!

Now on to the 2nd set of days. @vitaminvert is my second sunder who instructed me to open his beers in any order, so I grabbed a die and rolled a 2. This one also poured like motor oil. It was thiccc AF with some oily floaties on top... Clear sign of coconut to me...

I knew I was in for 6 days of WW stoutmas from Androo, which helped with my guess. I got lots of chocolate out of the gate. TONS! I also got some light vanilla and coconut. As the beer warmed, the coconut and bourbon became more pronounced. It was so thick and balanced with just the right amount of chcolate/coconut ratio. With this beer being a top want of mine, I knew exactly what it was. I have heard so many people describe it as coconut, bourbon fudge, and they are spot on.
Freaking Medianoche Reserve!!!!!!!!! Holy fook balls!!! This was a top want to try of mine, and it exceeded my expectations. Easily the best beer I've had in the past couple years. This might be the best stout I've ever had! Now I need to track down another bottle of it, especially since I shared it with a buddy who came over for some Christmas pours. Hahaha. Androo, you are the man of all men! Thank you so much, buddy!

That and DB Assassin were the best two beers that I have been blessed to try in a loooooooong time. And both were sampled at the @PA-Michigander wedding!

I had a little trouble find the box that @SouthernSips was delivered this morning. After some searching I found the box down over the snow bank at the bottom of my driveway next my mail box. But about 12 feet down the bank and was stopped when it slid into some trees. Not only did this asshole from Fedex not deliver this to my house but the box was left in the wet snow and rain without so much as a plastic bag covering it. I sort of assumed that perhaps Sandy1 had gone out and closed the gate when she left but she never left the house today and we also got packages delivered to the door by UPS and Amazon today. So Fuk Fedex!!! End of Rant!

Everything in the boxes was intact since they were double boxed. One box labeled open on Dec25 that I was told to open on the 31st which I will do then. The other box contained another wrapped beer for day 12. That makes 19 now! It also contained 4 wrapped cans with instructions for the Hazy Cup 2021. And also one more can.
Thanks so much for including me in this Gary.

And I also rolled the die and rolled 9.

My apologies to @ninjembro for the late post of yesterday's beer. Drank this one very late last night:
Based off of wax and smell I guessed this was a variant of the BA stout from earlier in the week. That one had vanilla, this one started off as a huge chocolate bomb. Tons of chocolate and hints of what I guessed was the knob creek barrel. As it warmed the chocolate mellowed a bit and I got some caramel as well.

Pretty darn close guess, but I never found the pecan other than this had a pretty dry finish. Excited to get to try the non-adjunct version of this that Cody sent as an extra. Really liked both these beers, but I think this one gets a slight edge for nailing the adjuncts. Thanks Cody!

Day 1. Sexy body nice and thick knew it was a voodoo but wasn't sure which one.

Got a drink the aphotic from voodoo. Loved it

Day 2 another 12oz goodie. Sensing a voodoo theme. Loved sipping on this but had no idea of the barrel. Turned out to be a ba black magic. Very enjoyable.

Fell a couple days behind with holiday travel but I'm here to catch up. @PassMeAZima gave my liver, but not my taste buds, a break with this: Fruitless by Casey/ Side Project.

On first pass, corked bottle and aroma told me we were firmly off the Stout train. Pours golden with minor carb, absolutely beautiful beer. And the taste... My goodness. Tart, delicate, nuanced. Thus is the brewer's art right here. I'm not a fan of the Slurpee shit in sours so he really nailed this one... Funk/subtlety >>>>> fruit bombs. YES TO THIS.

Drinking beers #9A and 9B tonight compliments of @SouthernSips. 9A poured a dark black with a few floaters and a very coconut nose.[IMG]
The flavors a good nice coconut and a good bourbon barrel and a little sweet but a great drink.
    on to the reveal

    Day 8 from @Aguirre .

Solid black cap, so not a ton of help there. A light barrel flavor on what i believe is a barleywine. Doesn't have the oxidation that a lot of barrel aged barleywines do, so not 100% sure. Might even be q BA Brown? Sticking with BA barleywine as a guess though.

Last nights beer #7 courtesy of @robgage.

Barleywine-esque flavors, though a touch thinner than normal. Maybe an American style or something labeled “Strong Ale”. I’m getting some red wine/port type barrel characteristics. I don’t even have a guess, but this is pretty great.

Quadfather in French oak cognac (formerly red wine) barrels. I was pretty close. Very drinkable, as evidenced by the lack of beer left for reveal photo. And I do subscribe to the fact that BA Quads are indeed Life.

    Thanks again @robgage!!

On to beer #9B again from @SouthernSips
    [IMG]
Beer again pours a dark black color. The nose is complex if I say it politely but the old man would say muddled. This is a barrel aged beer and I get some coffee as it warms in my glass.
Other than the coffee nothing seems to stand out to me. Still seems to me to be a lot of flavors blended together. Maybe a blend of a few different stouts. Not as bad as this years Mott the Lessor as they tried to fix some infection issues. This is okay at best I'm sorry to say. The reveal is Kane 10th Anniversary Ale a blend of barrel aged beers.
Thanks for sharing this Gary not in the same class as the first one tonight for sure but a solid beer none the less

    Today’s day 8 beer courtesy of @UcDru

Bottle Logic cap. Pours a very dark ruby color, so we’ve got a Barleywine on our hands.

Nose is all Vanilla. Taste is Vanilla and Brown Sugar.

I absolutely love this. Vanilla is my favorite adjunct, even in a Barleywine. I haven’t revealed it yet, but I’d bet the farm that this is Intrepid Orchid.

    reveal to come.

Day 8 today from @soma27 took this baby on the road with me. Boy am I glad I did. Poured syrupy thick. Crazy amount of chocolate and boozy almonds. This beer is on another level. Have no clue what it could be but this mystery beer has instantly jumped into one of my favorite beers ive been able to try this year. Wow. So good.

    And the reveal…

Equilibrium Swiss Bliss Grand Royale. This beer was never on my radar. It’s why I love drinking blind. This one blew my mind. Really loved getting to try this. Thanks Chris!

Home for a night before we're off to another family Christmas. Having a two year old and no local family means a lot of travelling...

Anyways, day 8 is courtesy of @devilfluff

White wax is making me think Kane, as that was a request since I've heard great things and hadn't had any of their stouts before. I've already had one winner this week, so hoping this is another.

Definitely looks barrel aged and first sip I got a lot of coffee. At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it, as I'm not usually a fan of coffee forward beers, but as I took a few more sips, the coffee was not overpowering. I also got a bit of maple as well.

    And the reveal...

    Kane Rye BA Sunday Brunch!

Was happy to get the coffee and maple. I don't know if I've had many rye barrel aged beers, so this was a nice treat.

Off to Iowa tomorrow with the rest of the bottles!

Day 4 from @Bum4ever and @valrxman was and easy guess, but also a cheat. Cap gave away 3F and I believe the color is saved for speling lots. However the 16/17 on the cork means I have no real guess on which one it could actually be.
