2012 Night Stalker sightings

Has it really gotten to this? Bourbon County is one thing but do we really need a thread for Nightstalker sightings? The old bottles sat on the shelves forever. I'd be willing to bet you'll have no problem finding this one

I like to let the hops completely fade and pretend I'm drinking (aged) Cook County stout. Is there 2010 still on the shelves? What about 2011 - that vintage tasted terrible fresh...

 

Is this the first batch since it's hiatus? When was the last time they produced it before this? Thinking about going out and picking one of the old ones up.

 

Yes. Last batch was 2/?/2011 (or 3/?/2011... I forget).

ummm I thought I heard the rumor that Night Stalker and Big John were both coming back within the next month or so.

 

as of last friday there was plenty (of this years) in the burbs... westmont liquors had the biggest haul remaining of the 900 places I checked for bcbs bombers that day

 

What are your thoughts on people who post the names of stores where they just cleaned out all the bottles? Or people who don't post any names of stores, but post a pic of three cases of 2010 Night Stalker?

 

After the Black Friday event I walked across the street to the brew pub to see what they had on tap and in the to-go cooler. They had 2010 bottles of Big John for $20.

 

I heard a young, rather good looking man was selling them by the case in a childrens museum parking lot in early 2012.

 

If you want 2012 try Walgreen's. If you want 2011 go to Goose Island Clybourn.

 

I don't understand the accusation and I won't respond to it.

Binny's in DG has plenty of both Nightstalker and Big John as of today @ 4pm. Prestige on Ogden in DG still has 3 singles of BCBS and tons of FFF Alpha Klaus.

 

WI has night stalker, not a big deal, places are getting 10+ cases of it at a time.

 

They had 10 bottles on the shelf at Binnys in Mchenry IL. I passed this time and bought the Big John because only 2 bottles were on the shelf. Is Nightstalker>Big John? Was trying to figure out if I was gonna make the drive back for the Nightstalker.

 

How much are the bottles of Big John and NightStalker going for?
