i'll take false hope all day
Another case ... but why pay for shipping when I can pick it up at the brewery and stop at De Garde on the way?
ok, i just got the call from Ken, he's still working his way down the list folks so you never know! 1 case flyin' to the ATL shortly!
When I emailed him my contact info I asked where I was on the list and he had told me:
"You are number 223 on the list, which almost ensures you will receive beer."
I have yet to receive a call FYI, so looks like it's just taking plenty of time to get through his list.
When did you email? I emailed on Oct. 4 and haven't got a call yet.....
I wouldn't worry too much...they've had enough the last year or two to offer people 2 cases each, and are doing it again this year. Something tells me that if they didn't have enough to get through the list them wouldn't offer every the opportunity to buy two cases.
Got a call from Ken about 45 mins ago but missed the call so waiting to hear back from him. He's an awesome guy and things have gone very smoothly ever since they moved to the email system.
I didn't email until 10/17 and received my call the other day.
In fact, I missed his first call because I wondered why Oregon was calling me (oops!) and then answered his 2nd call 1.5 hours later.
Two cases headed to the RVA! Can't wait!!
Hoping to get a call. I originally emailed on 10/1. I received a follow up email on 12/2 for details for potential shipping. No call yet. I got one last year, and knew it took a few days for Ken to get through them all. Hoping for the same result this year. Just sent Ken a follow up from the time stamped original. Not sure if they go by date, name, etc.
I also emailed them on 10/1 and got a follow up email on 12/2, and just confirmed my order a little while ago. He was still working through the list and I know it normally takes him a few days (since he has to wait for people he left messages for to call him back), so I wouldn't sweat it yet.
Got a call from the nicest dude ever. Case headed my way!
Yep. Got my call during my lunch hour shortly aftert this post. He is the man! Another year of MoaS. Sweet!
Got my call this afternoon - I put my name on the list pretty late too. Looking forward to trying the new batch.
I wish I could afford to drop $240 on a case of beer, but in the meantime I'll wait for moas single bottle sales at my local bottle shops. Pelican always says they're going to sell out, but year after year the local bottle shops always have singles for sale.
They produced more this year and are upping production since opening a 2nd facility in Tilimook
Just got my case...
My two cases arrived today.
should be getting 2 cases tomorrow. love this time of year
Anyone know how many cases/bottles there were this year ?
No but more than last year
super quick shipping, ken was awesome, my first time getting in on the case but stoked about it!
Anyone open a bottle yet?
Are these shipping via Fedex or UPS?
Got my case on Tuesday this week. Also had the 2013 on draught about 2 weeks ago as well, just before the bottles released. It is fantastic (on draught at least) and I'd say better than last year. A fantastic beer.
Just opened one. It tastes beautiful right out of the bottle. Just like it always has. With this and plenty of BCBW, I have just what I need for the winter.
It is Glooooooooorrrrrrrrrrious!!!
What's the consensus on MoaS in general - to cellar or not to cellar? I had 2013 on draft and it was absolutely wonderful, but I'm not sure when to pop my bottle.
Check the reviews for some opinions. I think it is great up to at least 3 years. Fresh it is just a bit boozier.
Well i got a case last year but i never got a call this year. Oh well.
So ISO a few bottles if anybody is into it...
