    Cans > everything

Hahaha! Too bad they were canning wine. Boxed wine at that. Still funny as hell.

Definitely missing a few (in terms of the "label" design), but nice list. Thanks for sharing, OP!

    Love the Carton (NJ) cans!

And great to see 2 Cincy OH breweries here as well (Mad Tree and Rhinegeist)!

For some reason, the can is an incredible medium for art. Nothing more beautiful than a well-designed can of beer, cold, gleaming with a bit of condensation, begging to be cracked open.

    doesn't that mean they win?

while i generally like cans better, there are a couple of these breweries that need to work on their product more than their packaging.

EDIT: 18th street has some awesome cans...

La Cumbre's cans probably should have made the cut. I know it's a homer gripe, but there were a few on there that could have been excluded to include La Cumbre easily.

No Sixpoint cans? I love the design on them as you can stick them in your pocket, and walk around in public with them as they look like energy drinks.

A little known brewery (Apocalypse Ale Works) here in Virginia who is pumping out some awesome brews just started canning and their art is awesome. Sorry for laziness:

Modern Times invested a good amount of time and money in their overall design- from cans to logo to merch to interior design. They did hire some well-regarded design industry folks, too.

The Church Key can brought back some memories. It's cool to see somebody take the beer can that retro, as long as it is only how you open it. Hopefully, they left that "can taste" behind.

Before I looked at the list I was already thinking of Creature Comforts and Orpheus in GA, and they are both on the list. However I think Paste is based in Atlanta so that could add some local love bias - still great can designs.
