You need to try any Black Husky you can get your hands on. Their Pale Ale is incredible, but the whole lineup is delicious. They'll have it at Star most likely.

I'm actually pretty happy with what is going on in Arizona, specifically Tucson where I live. People complain but we have 4 really solid breweries here in Tucson along with Fate, AZ Wilderness, Papago and Four Peaks in Phoenix. We're one of the few westish states that gets Bells, Avery just came back and we get Firestone Walker. Not to mention Alpine is on the way to San Diego which is an easy drive.

Yeah, I found some good beer it was just that none of it was local. I tried quite a few different options from Four Peaks and about 8 other beers from various AZ breweries and they were all subpar except for a vanilla porter and a milk stout I found.

This is a tough one. I will only include beers that are actually distributed outside of the brewery themselves.

    In no order

    Cold Smoke-Kettlehouse
    Dragon's Breath- Bayern
Beltian White- Harvest Moon (easy drinking summer beer)
    Glacier Select- Glacier Brewing
    Moose Drool- Big Sky

While these certainly not the best our state has, they're my favorites that are available just about everywhere in state and most of them out of state as well.

Also, I hear that flathead lake brewing has a good DIPA that I have yet to try. Everyone seems to rave about it
