    MO isn't such a competitive state when it comes to spectacular beers, but is becoming more of one.

    Boulevard Love Child
    Boulevard Imperial Stout
    Boulevard Saison-Brett
    Any Perennial Abraxas varietal
    Schlafly TIPA

    The 2nd Shift stuff is making waves. LSD was nice, I was upset I couldn't get my hands on any of the coffee variety. However, their pale beers are rarely fresh on the KC shelves which bothers me. I was looking at an Art of Neurosis on the shelf (not in the fridge) in January that was bottled in October.

    Here in N. Virginia, we are fortunate to also have Maryland and DC beers that we consider local, so:

    Lost Rhino Face Plant IPA (VA)
    DC Brau The Public pale ale (DC)
    Port City Optimal Wit (VA)
    DC Brau Penn Quater porter (DC)
    Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA (MD)

    If I'm picking only from VA brews, then I'd add Legend brown ale, Starr Hill Northern Lights IPA, and Blue Mountain Evil 8 Belgian Style Dubbel Ale.

    I selected only those that are available for purchase in bottles/cans, but my absolute favorite beer here available only on site is Mad Fox Orange Whip (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/23201/63190/). Good stuff!!!
