I tried this at The Hay Merchant on cask on Sunday, and must say, the black sea salt definitely made this excellent beer even better. I'm not sure on where all this was shipped out to or who all got it, but its seriously good stuff. I've never seen or heard of it before, does anyone know if this was a one time deal or if they'll be spreading more of this stuff around?

Was it sea salt that happened to be black, or salt from the Black Sea?

Not exactly sure what particular type they used, but its a variety of sea salt.

Salty pecans sound like a good mix to me.

Is it just salted, or soured as well?

Salted, but not overly done. Seriously a great beer. Don't let the haters fool you on this one.
