For beer acquisition, I'd rather live in Austin. Craft beer is so trendy in Houston that it's becoming no fun. :-/

It is getting to be ridiculous to have to hunt down all these limited releases.

and yall think Austin is any better!! its a mad house here. at least in Houston you had black butte for months and months on the shelf. it didn't even make it here.

The 3 in my beer fridge I bought in Austin disagree. ;)

HEB Escarpment had it for a good 2 months on the shelf.

The more popular limited release craft beer becomes, the tougher it will be. I'm game.

Any chance these make it up to DFW?

If not I guess I'll have to snatch some when I visit Austin.

Nah, not Abyss - this one is looking more like WBA Bigfoot.

There will be probably less than 50 bottles making it to DFW (~2000 total). If you don't make it by the day of release there is pretty much no zero chance of getting this...it may last more than a day someplaces but highly highly unlikely

Do they bottle anything else besides this? Will Cascabel Cream Stout be bottled? I love that stuff.... also, I have a bottle of Karbach 003 BB Hellfighter Porter I would trade for a BA Double Pecan Porter once they finally hit...

I'm trying to get a keg, but I heard the cost went up. I think it was 400$ for 15g last release? Might be too rich for my blood, might have to settle on a case.

I wish they would bottle the Mango IPA! I had it last night on cask from Dancing Bear. Wound up coming home with 2 half-growlers full of it. That stuff was fantastic!

I bought almost 2 cases of this last year and all of them were solid. The people I traded to never complained either. This year though I am not as fortunate to work in austin anymore. gonna try to snag 2 or 3 just for me.

I don't like the new label. The old one was classy this one is very generic.

    Good luck everyone.
