    Cool! In de Wildeman is another old school bar that hasn't changed a bit in the last 100 years apart from the excellent beermenu ;-)

    Really entertaining read, that! Love places with some history and atmosphere. Makes having a pint that much more enjoyable.

    Hope the Thrillist doesn't pick up on this and do to "Brown Cafes" what they did to Stanich's Burgers.

    back in the day De Kuil was a fantastic brown bar / coffeeshop combo and was one of the few if not only places to order hash and beer at the same place. Sadly it is now the 420 cafe and no longer serves alcohol
