Ahh ha haa! That's awesome but that won't help when someone spills half their beer on your leg and it runs down into your shoe, or God forbid, they toss their cookies on your calves! I'm headed to München in two weeks for Oktoberfest myself and I made sure to buy three shirts and three sets of socks just in case! Shoes? Well, they'll just have to get rinsed off.

Yeah, until there is a matching track suit with the same DPBR coating, well, I'm a hard pass on this. Gonna have to wear galoshes or something at the local Oktoberfest until then.

My first thought is this: Is spilling beer on your shoes really that big of a problem at Oktoberfest? Or anywhere?

If you're wondering if shoe spills happen a lot, I expect so given a huge drinking crowd. I've had it happen at beer-fests. If you're thinking it's no biggie if it does happen, it depends on where you plan on wearing them afterward, as they'll reek. While you can wash sneakers, many don't hold up to that anymore.

It is for the folks that go out drinking once a year.

If they replaced the gold with green they'd match my lederhosen and I'd consider it.
